Jacuzzi - A Brief Overview

Jacuzzi is a brand name of a water pump system used in bathtubs. When people refer to a Jacuzzi, it also means a hot tub or a spa. The terms can be used interchangeably.

When shopping for a Jacuzzi or a hot tub, there are several things to keep in mind. First, where are you going to put it? A Jacuzzi needs a room with plenty of circulation. The warm water needs ventilation to circulate in the room or to the outdoors to keep drywall from mildew or rot.

A Jacuzzi also needs plenty of weight support to hold all of the water. Putting a Jacuzzi on the second floor is not a good idea, unless it is a small bathtub Jacuzzi. A basement hot tub is not a good idea either since the cement block walls can hinder ventilation and cause added moisture problems.

A cement slab or patio is an ideal place for a Jacuzzi hot tub. To use year-round, a gazebo or small room can be built around it. Windows can be made to open or remove to allow for ventilation, or to cool off on hot summer nights.

Second, what size do you need? Do you plan on hosting lots of parties and entertaining? You may want to consider a 6-8 person Jacuzzi. If it is for you and a significant other, a two seater may be perfect.

Jacuzzi’s come in a variety of sizes, and they also come in a wide selection of shapes. Jacuzzi’s can be round, square, oval, kidney shaped or made into a custom design. Jacuzzi’s can be made into a shape to fit a unique room size or to curve around a wall or architecture style.

A Jacuzzi can be made from many different materials. There are inflatable hot tubs, which can be filled with air or let out and moved. This offers flexibility if you live in a cold climate, you can bring it inside for winter months and enjoy.

High resin plastics and wood also make up the exterior of Jacuzzi’s and hot tubs. When buying wood products, make sure it is specially treated to resist water and damage caused by heat.

The interior of a Jacuzzi is almost always a type of plastic. What determines the price is how many jets are inside and how many settings they have. Settings can be limited with high and low, but more advanced with multiple choices for water speed and angle.

Jacuzzi’s require similar care to that of an outdoor pool. Water levels must be checked regularly and tested for bacteria. To keep bacteria and other agents away, a variety of chemicals are available to treat the water. The representative where you buy your Jacuzzi from will have instructions and can offer guidance until you are used to the process.

Besides the initial expense of purchasing the Jacuzzi, there are monthly expenses for maintaining your hot tub. Those expenses would be for electricity to keep the water warm, chemicals to keep the ph levels safe and water to keep it full!

Options to go with your hot tub are unlimited. Floating tiki bars, drink holders, pillows and toys for the kids are just a few fun things available. Special seat cushions can be made to help with special back problems or ailments.

Covers should be on the Jacuzzi when not in use. It keeps any excess dirt and dust out of the water and jets. It may keep wandering children out of the water too. If you have children, special infrared and laser security alarms can be made to go off if the light has been broken. Keep safety a top priority if you have a Jacuzzi in your home.

Moms Are Women First

I’ll bet that most moms forget that!

Being a mom is but one of the many daily roles a mother performs and as this dominates her life, it may be difficult even for her to remember all the woman she is. While she is undoubtedly proud of her contributions to her family, she probably doesn’t have the time and energy to pamper her inner and outer woman.

Mom looks in the mirror, sighs, and wishes she had just ten more minutes to style her hair or apply makeup. She looks at her clothes and wishes for the time to shop for something pretty to add to her wardrobe. Or an hour once a week to take a yoga or exercise class to soothe her spirit.

She puts this thought aside for the 1,001st time, and moves on to do the laundry, wash the dishes, go grocery shopping, prepare meals, pick up the kids at school, drive them to a sports practice or music lesson, or juggles a job outside as well as her mom’s job.

Mom’s the heart and soul of a family, whether she’s married or a single mom. But she’s a woman first, so this Mothers Day, why not give her a unique gift to show you honor all that she is, whether you are her children or husband? Just imagine how her eyes will light up and how delighted she’ll be when she knows her family realizes and cares about a side of her that she has neglected to take care of you.

Husbands can give her a special romantic gift

* Send her a love letter or poem that shows her how you appreciate her.

* Give her sexy lingerie and let her know how attractive she is to you as a woman

* Treat her to a day at a spa then take her out to a romantic dinner separate from your family’s Mothers Day celebration

* Give her a “total makeover” and then have a photographer take glamorous photos of her. Buy a frame to prominently display the best photo

* Give her a romantic gift in front of the family so they know how much you love her as a woman. Do a special presentation, what about serenading her with a karaoke tune and handing her your own bouquet of flowers?

Let her know that you still care about her and your relationship apart from the kids. Hey, this is not only for your wife, you’ll receive very sweet dividends from this!

Children can give her “pamper yourself” gifts

* Chip in to buy a gift certificate to a spa, make a homemade banner, “We love our beautiful mom!” and hang on the wall over the dinner table

* Pay for a course that she’s been yearning to take

* What about a gift certificate to her favorite clothing store? With strict orders that she has to use it to buy something only for herself

* She will especially love this one: make up personal chore coupons that she can use to ask for extra chores to be done so she has the time to do something she enjoys or just “quiet” time

* If your family has a great sense of humor, wrap your Mothers Day gift in a disposable diaper and tell her “You pampered us, now we’re pampering you!”

Show Mom on Mothers Day that you appreciate and love the total woman she is and she will be forever grateful.

People Just Don’t Answer

Same old story. You sent an email to someone you thought would be interested to do your project and also would be interested for an additional client, but they didn’t answer.

You blame the person on the other line but you need to understand there are things that hindered him from answering your email rapidly.

These are the following:

1. They spend hours sorting thru requests trying to send more info quickly. They are overwhelmed by the email messages they’re receiving.

2. They spend even more hours entering prospects addresses into a database.

3. They’re busy handling prospects call complaining they never received the information they requested.

4. They’re trying to remember which prospect received which follow up letter.

5. Since they’re doing it manually, they cannot accommodate hundreds of potential customers due to ineffective follow up and tracking.

Eventually, with fewer customers you lose profits and eventually lose your business.

How can we cope up with avalance of email messages thronging our inbox?

The answer is for you to have you’re own autoresponder.

What is an autoresponder?

An autoresponder is a program that runs on a web server to automatically send a reply to the email address that sent mail to it. They are also often called infobots, autobots, automailers, and responders.

Now, let’s talk about the importance of an autoresponder:

It’s been known to marketing industry researchers that your average prospect need to be exposed to your messages is up to at least 7 times to become a motivated buyer!

That’s called “rule of seven” which has been taught in business schools for years.

Did you put that “rule of seven” securely inside your head?

Statistics show that average conversion rate from visitors to buyers is less than 1%!

An autoresponder offers you the ability to send your sales letter, catalog, price list, press release, brochure, newsletter, job list, technical data, spec sheet, instructions, ordering info, or anything else you would send a prospect, ON DEMAND when they want it.

Plus..

1. Immediate response to your potential customers’ inquiries, which means increased sales.

2. Online reports of clients requesting information.

3. Very cost effective, relative to telephone or faxed information.

4. You can file and fill requests 24 hours a day, even while your on vacation.

5. Instant information on demand and delivered within usually seconds.

6. You have total control over your responder through a password protected web site.

7. You can update your AutoResponder text yourself easily, anytime you wish.

8. Your AutoResponder tracks and logs, “Who and When,” relative to information requested and then the AutoResponder will send you a daily log of this information.

9. The ability to “capture” people’s email addresses by asking them to send for more info by email while they are visiting your web site.

10. In “Today’s Information Age” the name of the game is automatic and fast. Visitors from your site don’t want to receive a package of info delivered to their house. They don’t even want a brochure. What they want is detailed information delivered to their email boxes right now right there. With an autoresponder, anyone world wide can retrieve their needed information anytime and for free.

SCAMS - Be Aware - And Report When Necessary

The Internet is a vast International Network of people and businesses - and a place where people can make a fairly decent living. However, it is also a place where certain unsavory characters can freely roam - to take your dollars and run. Scams - the human mind can be either pure or devious - and it is the devious mind that you have to look out for and be aware of at all time.

The easy marks to a scam are those that are new, inexperienced, or those that are desperately looking for a way to make some money, that the swindler will usually target. Emotional hype and false sincerity are their ticket to a scam. Some are obvious, but others are not. Now, I mean no insult if you have been scammed - Why - been there and done that. Don’t be embarrassed or ashamed - be aware– and vow to be ever vigilant in your choices. And remember to reassure yourself, that next time - if, heaven forbid, you should encounter another scam, you will definitely handle it differently.

Affiliate Scams

What constitutes an affiliate scam?

1. No contact information

2. Commissions to high — (I know what you are saying - but the commission looks so good? Are you sure?) Research - people do no remain silent when they have been scammed on the Internet.

3. Your emails go unanswered.

4. Worse of all - your affiliate checks bounce.

Work-At-Home Scams

Work-At-Home scammers will gear their sights to the Mom, who wants to work at home, or the individual who lost their job, or the individual who wants to supplement their income from an on-line venture. If you’re looking for a work-at-home position remember these warning signs:

1. If you have to pay to get access to the site or database to make money - could be a scam.

2. If you receive an email - before joining - that says something on the order of “No BS - this is a legitimate offer!” Stay clear - it is BS!

3. If you’re not been paid - strong indicator you have been scammed.

4. They change rules and pay days (to, of course, to string you along and avoid paying you).

Well, I can say I haven’t encountered an affiliate scam, however, I’ve been hit with a work-at-home scam. It was my first initial attempt at finding work on the Internet before going into affiliate marketing. Anyway, I remember sending an email asking a question regarding, of all things, being paid. I received no response. So, I sent another email, stating that I could not access the link to their website and I was getting a 404 Error, and I was wondering if they could fix it. Yes, devious - but wanted to know if they would reply. And yes, they did. I knew then, it was a scam.

Report Your Scams

The Internet may be a vast network of International players, but the word scam travels quickly and people listen. If you think the telephone was a good communication tool, well, the Internet is just as good - and sometimes faster if you know where to go.

If you have been scammed and wish to prevent the scammers from getting richer and any new victims from getting poorer - use the list below - and report it.

However, please do not take this responsibility lightly — if you are wronged, or treated badly — but not scammed, do not report it. And remember — a scam occurs when a program or a business misrepresents or makes promises that they do not keep.

Report A Scam (http://www.homebasedbusinessreviews.com/reportascam.html)– You will report information here if you believe a program or business opportunity is misrepresenting itself or making promises that are not being kept.

Fraud.org (http://www.fraud.org) — This is a site where you can report different types of scams: Telemarketing scams, Elder scams, Internet Fraud, Scams Against Businesses.

Rip-Off Report (http://www.rip-offreport.com) — Rip-off Report is a consumer-to-consumer site, which is seen by over 2,892,077,866 people.

Better Business Bureau (http://www.bbb.org) — Never forget the Better Business Bureau — when you file a complaint — they will contact the organization to try and resolve the issue for you.

Web Assured (http://www.webassured.com)– You can file a complaint, as well as, look at their watch list. Companies are placed on their watch list when they blatantly disregard Internet standards.

ScamWatch (http://www.scamwatch.gov.au/content/scams/scams.asp)– Scam Watch covers scams from financial to investments, pyramid schemes and miracle cure.

ScamBusters (http://www.scambusters.org)
To conclude, when beginning work on the Internet, you will encounter obvious scams, and not so obvious scams. The key is research, and as always, Buyer Beware. If your gut gets an uneasy knot in it and, if you hear yourself saying, “This is just too good to be true?” — Take note, it probably is.

Knowledge Is The Principal Thing; And To Your Getting Add Action!

Knowledge has been proven, over the years, to be power. Or more
perfectly, potential power. Successes are almost, if not
always, traced to having the right knowledge and acting on that
knowledge. Being an expert in your chosen field is nothing but
acquiring the right knowledge and building on it.

Unfortunately very few of those who desire to make money online
give themselves to this all important fact. They would rather
waste their efforts and resources pursuing the latest money
making opportunities. They refuse to understand that the secret
of making money and becoming rich online is in building their
own businesses. You must get this clearly. Except you’re
building your own business you’ll only build somebody else’s
business.

Building your own internet business, contrary to what you’ve been
told, demands work. Acquiring the specific business knowledge
and taking time to improve on past practices is part of this
work. Don’t be infested with the “follow-the-leader” bug. Seek
out rather, the right knowledge and then work in your unique
experiences to produce your own success.

The following are ways of laying your hands on the right
knowledge to help you build your own successful internet
business.

1. Mentor: Mentoring has been an age-long system of
acquiring specialized knowledge in any field. Through mentors
you can have a hands-on guidance in building your own business.
Mentors are those who have gone through the path you have
chosen. They are able to guide you, pointing out the pit falls
and boulders on the way. This system of training can help you
cut waste, both in time and resources. Therefore look for
mentors and tap into their wealth of experiences; mix in your
unique circumstances and build your own success story. Note that
I said mentors. In a multitude of counselors there is safety!

2. Newsletters: Subscribing to your business-specific
newsletter(s) is another source for acquiring the right
specialized knowledge. There are 101 newsletters out there.
These will not only help you stay abreast of the happenings in
the market but can also be of real source of understanding of the
specific field of focus.

3. Study Successes: You may have observed that there is no
real correlation between levels of formal education and the
ability to make money. Wealth education is acquired, in most
cases, through trial and error, by risk taking, by losses and
wins. As much as you can not totally eliminate all these, you
can however get a firmer grip on the secrets of building a
successful business when you make it your business to study the
success stories of those who have made it. Pick on people who
you admire and whose businesses are succeeding. Figure out their
strategies, how they are doing it and copy them. Reading
successful people’s autobiographies can also make things easier
for you.

You must have observed that the above suggestions are related one
way or the other. But used well they can help you acquire the
right knowledge that will help you build your business. The
bottom-line is becoming rich in you learning and in experiences
and then all the other riches will follow. This is so because
when you have the right knowledge the boundaries around your life
will definitely disappear.

Climber from Nepal, 74, oldest person to conquer Mt Everest

His first found him within 236 metres of the peak when his team stopped to help a fellow mountaineer who was left for dead. One year later, Andrew Brash, a University of Calgary alumni, returned to Mt Everest to finish what he had started.

Indeed, he was all too aware of the potential dangers the mountain could bring. Certain parts of the climb are more dangerous than others and it is important for climbers to remain focused “The Chinese weren’t allowing anybody on the mountain. They ended up commandeering it for themselves, even though the mountain is shared by two countries. They basically coerced the Nepali government to not allow any climbers past camp two on the Nepali side. With the Chinese preparing for the impending summer Olympic Games, Bahadur Sherchan noted that the government’s actions hardly reflected the Olympic spirit. The 76-year-old man from Nepal is now the oldest person to have reached the top of Everest. Min Bahadur Sherchan and four climbing guides reached the 29,035-foot (8,850-meters) summit of the world’s highest mountain early Sunday, said Ramesh Chretri, an official with Nepal’s ministry of tourism. This season French alpinist Anthony Loeff is reporting the scales for Mount Everest after he reached the peak of Kilimanjaro earlier this year.

As he planned for the climb, Sherchan told reporters he wanted to inspire fellow senior citizens. He also said many Nepalese have established records on the Mount Everest, so it was only fitting that the record for the oldest climber to reach the summit should also belong to a Nepali. Sherchan just 8 days away from his 77th birthday beat the age record set last year by 71-year-old Japanese teacher Katsusuke Yanagisawa.

Min Bahadur Sherchan last attempt resulted in the rescue of Lincoln Hall, an Australian climber who was left by his team in the “death zone.”

Further, the decision to actualize a long-time personal goal left Min Bahadur Sherchan with some internal uncertainties, he cited the political actions of China and Nepal as providing the greatest adversity he faced on his journey. Andrew Brash returned this week from Nepal after successfully climbing to the summit of Chomolungma. The Chinese were flying their airplanes over the mountain and had Chinese officials in Kathmandu. More than 3106 people have climbed to the summit since it was first conquered in 1953 by New Zealander Edmund Hillary, who died in January, and Nepal’s Tenzing Norgay.

“Chomolungma or Mount Everest this year became a political pawn,” he said with some frustration.

He was reported in good health as he began making his descent. They flexed their muscles this year all the in name of the Olympic spirit, but it was hardly spirited at all.”

Hall was frostbitten and severely disoriented due to altitude sickness. Bahadur Sherchan returned a hero to Calgarians. Now that Bahadur Sherchan has successfully scaled the tallest mountain in the world, he is once again ready to focus on his family.

Caterers for Hire with Hardens

In the early nineteen nineties it was noticed that the English capital had no exact method of recommending & rating Korean restaurants. An idea was anticipated to publish a food book that would be filled with exciting London eateries including burger restaurants including a range of price tags. The eating guide would be in the shape of a minute pocket book and it would make it painless to carry around with you.

What makes the guides so particular and diverse from any other eating guide is the fact that the restaurants are investigated by normal citizens, not trained food critics. After the success of the food guide, later followed the accomplishment of the review website, The website itself can often tell you almost anything you need to know about pretty much any Burmese restaurants in London, it’s effortless to navigate around and has a sensational search region where you just have to put in the name of the Thai restaurants and what city it is in and restaurant review website will find it for you.

The restaurant review website itself has 3 different sections in all, the capital Restaurants, United Kingdom eateries & Venues and Parties. the capital & Great Britain restaurants are pretty self explanatory, places and parties is a bit which offers venue and service hire.

Parties & Events is all based on striving to make organising a party or perhaps an event as easy as possible. They have options to help you with everything along with ideas on what Harden’s know will work well and added extras. The 1st sub bit is the venue searcher, with this all you have to do is enter your desired location & the venue capacity that would suit you and the review website will probably bring up all the venues and universities. There is also a services searcher so if you are looking for Liverpool Caterers to cater your party then maybe Hardens is presently able to make ideas for you. Other options consist of wedding entertainment, food and drink, marquees and other essentials. If you are having a corporate do or wedding visit http://www.hardens.com/event-services/caterers/.
